Following the lead of countries like Ethiopia and Kenya who group their most talented athletes to train and learn from each other to be the best. Since 2010 The Nike Elite Camp has brought together 20 of the best high school distance runners from around the country each Summer to train, compete, and learn together with the best coaches and professional athletes in the country as their guides. Building on the success of the distance camps, in 2014, the camp added a second session focused on the best sprinters in the country. At both camps the athletes share a one of a kind experience that will continue to enhance America's presence on the global distance running and sprint scene.
